Stephen has gained considerable experience and knowledge both as a contractor and as a consultant. Throughout his career, his areas of activity include construction surveying, geotechnical engineering, hydrotechnical engineering and hydrology, materials engineering, geoenvironmental engineering, and project management.  Over his career, he has been involved with hundreds of projects beginning as a surveyor and inspector to project manager, to the design engineer and project manager of multi-million dollar landfill, commercial, industrial, pipelines and roadway projects. He has also worked as a surveyor and project manager for two major natural gas pipeline projects within New Brunswick.




Kelly Jewer, PTech

Kelly is a senior design technologist and project manager who has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in municipal and civil engineering design. She has also spent her 20+ year career working closely with a number of natural gas pipeline companies working to develop processes and best practices.  Serving as project manager for all Atlantic Civil projects, she has formed favourable and long lasting professional relationships with her clients. It should be noted, Atlantic Civil did not officially incorporate until 2013, however, Kelly has worked continuously with several of these companies since 2000. During this time Kelly’s career saw her working with two engineering firms prior to stepping into her role with Brunswick. With each move in her career, these clients followed for her vast knowledge of their operational history, program maintenance, regulatory requirements, and overall expertise.




Ed DeSaulniers, NBLS, B. Sc. Eng.

Manager of DeSaulniers Survey Inc.

Ed is a professional land surveyor with several years of Oil and Gas Industry experience gained from surveying in remote areas of northern Alberta. He has also been involved in numerous gas well projects in the areas of Slave Lake, AB and Fox Creek, AB.  More recently, Ed has been working in the property boundaries sector where he has been providing surveying expertise required to re-establish historic property boundaries.  Knowledge in local regulations also allows Ed to design new multi-lot subdivisions that are not only economical but also attractive to potential buyers.  Ed also had the opportunity to work on the Energy East project as the Field Supervisor for the northern half of New Brunswick.
